Can't wait for the video. XD

@kuya flor: Di ko napansin yung cam nung day 2 lunch, nice work!

@xtragravy: We actually needed as much help as possible, and we appreciate the initiative.

First time ko masali sa isang batsu game.

I woke up shaking from the cold and asked Shinden to turn off the A/C, lol.

3 hours lang ang tulog ko for both nights, pero refreshed ako whenever I wake up, weird. Iba talaga kapag malamig dahil sa fresh air at A/C.

Overall, it was a great 3 days spent with you guys. XD

i prefer this new setup when it comes to sleeping department :D though siguro medyo may konting problem/conflict/whichever-you-call-it pagdating sa mealtimes, especially sa tanghali. sa sobrang init, hindi tayo pwede dun sa kinainan natin ng dinner nung friday, plus kung gabi, wala ding dedicated ilaw dun.

(up to the point na bagsak ang lahat dahil sa kabusugan) himala nun at walang nakapagpuyat nung first night kasi tulog agad :))

rants mostly wala naman major rants. siguro yung lack of activities lang. pero understandable naman dahil walang area for that. dapat next year every night may batsu game. yung ghost hunting pwede =))

=))

Ayos 'yung pagkain! Tama si Dan, certified busog ka pagkatapos. Food coma karamihan after kumain, nakatulog agad.

Walang jacuzzi tiemz. :(

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Buti naman at naayos rin kahit papano. Despite those, I think nasolusyonan naman 'yung mga problema sa mga kwarto.

Finally, may feedback na... langya took you guys a week =))

If there's anything I can say about this year's Outing, I'd say this was the most difficult one yet. This was the year when all things just had to go wrong. Sa meetup pa lang, me foul-ups na. Sa food prep, we came close to what I would call a bonafide kitchen disaster.

But in the end, we had no one to blame but ourselves. As much as we tried to plan things ahead of time, we still ended up overlooking a lot of things. Basically, kinulang kami sa assignment ng responsibilities. Personally, I was disappointed at my performance, being a part of the team that organized this Outing. There were just so many things that I thought I could've done better.

But in a way, while it was virtually a hell of a weekend for us, I'm still glad that you guys had a great time at the event itself. And I would like to give the "unsung heroes" that stepped up to the plate when the chips were down, the credit due to them:

Dandan: We can never thank you enough for rectifying our oversight.

Anne: Very seldom do we see new members join a high-profile event such as the PPF Outing, but it was rare to see a new member with the initiative to do simple yet important things that are oftentimes overlooked. We have our eyes on you.

And to the ones I failed to mention: You know who you are.

To be honest, I was near-down by the end of Day 1, but managed to get back in the game on Day 2. Thanks for the boost guys (and girls)!

This outing has taught me a lot of things. We are far from perfect, pero it's important that we have fun as we learn. We will continue to challenge ourselves every year.

Of course, I agree with everyone with the room setup. I like having my personal space and having peers in the same room.

@magique: I think what happened sa kwarto nila Tim was hindi nasara ng maayos yung sliding door so the bugs went in.
There was also that big spider in room 10.
XD

Hindi daw "Paw-friendly" yung door knob. Just kidding. :->

I also wanted some time sa jacuzzi, pero for the first time in the last few years, sobrang dami ng guests ng Kuhala.

@dan & dee: Weather's something we can't do much about. Heck, nabasa at nahirapan din kami nila Hao and Miff (along with the others) to prepare dinner of Night 1 dahil sa ulan at lakas ng hangin.

About activities, well, I honestly don't know how to tackle this well. Pero I noticed lang, the people who brought games with them should've also asked people from other rooms to play at may mga hindi nagamit na games like yung Monopoly ni Carlo.
I'd like to initiate something, pero I've already got my hands full with the supplies, meal preparation, personal stuff and trying to enjoy time with friends, and I can't say na hindi ako guilty kasi may dala din akong playing cards nung outing. XP

@blake: 2 nights ang batsu game? Tignan natin. >:)

Anyway, from my personal point of view, from dinner preparation of Night 1 until lunch preparation of Day 2, I was pretty much beat up, just like Miff. I was actually happy that we had Miff's party to prepare dinner for Night 2, kasi yun yung opportunity namin ni Hao to actually chillax a bit.

I'm happy that you guys enjoyed yung food. I know I barely "cooked", but managing things plus going back and forth for supplies really wore me out lalo na nung Day 2 lunch dahil sa init.

I'm also happy that you guys are enjoying kasi I've been giving the effort to help since naging mod ako. Sabi ko nga sa sarili ko, watching an outing video is a priceless moment kasi dun lang ako nakakatawa na parang walang bukas.

Now, based on this outing, I have thought of the following:
1. We need more drinks. I was finding it diffiult to manage yung amount of drinks being consumed and nabibitin ang mga tao (at least sa tingin ko).

2. There has to be a better means to communicate between organizers. Malayo ang kitchen natin sa stock room, it was a pain getting items needed. Mas madali if we had something like walkie-talkies so we could ask somebody to get supplies and just meet the person halfway.

3. To prevent issues with the meals, I think it is best that we ask members to bring processed/canned food as contribution again ( just like we did years ago). A lot of people probably didn't notice the disaster we've had in meal preparation and, believe it or not, a few cans of tuna or something else could have helped in a big way.

That's pretty much what's in my head right now.
I apologize if I sound negative, but believe me when I say all my stress has paid off. Now, I await for the video. ~o)

^Points taken and concurred. Ang idea kasi natin was, the 1.5L drinks per head were compulsary, pero all of us have the option to bring additional drinks that would count as our personal supplies (especially water), the sharing of which would depend on each of us. Unfortunately, we weren't able to disseminate this rather vital addendum to all participants, so nag-stick sila to the one required bottle.

The weather (plus yung mga nag-shooting sa Kuhala) was definitely a major variable that affected our planning, particularly the meal skeds. Either sobrang ulan, sobrang araw (or sobrang angas makatingin ni Raymart, sarap sapukin amp).

The only good thing that we can derive from that experience is the knowledge that we can use for the next events, including PPF Parties. To be honest, that was my first time to actually plan on feeding a party of more than eight persons.

All that hard planning work, slaving over a hot stove, and going back and forth under the hot sun really pays off kapag nakikita namin na nag-eenjoy tayong lahat.

Next time, we'll make sure each and every one of us will take part in making the PPF Outing a bigger success. Count on that :->
